Paint & Powder Coating

Give your wheels and other parts a new look. Powder coating offers a superior finish and durability. We take the proper steps from start to finish to create a look that lasts. Intricate parts like chrome emblems get sanded down and painted. Same goes for plastic front chrome grilles and certain trims on the car, as well as brake calipers. We use PPG Automotive paint and clear coat for the best quality and a long-lasting finish.

Powder Coating

When customizing your vehicle, different parts would need to get vinyl wrapped, painted or powder coated depending on what material they are made out of. For metal surfaces such as wheels, exhaust tips, side steps, and suspension components the best method is to powder coat them. Powder coating works by sandblasting or chemically stripping the metal, and using an electric charge to stick the powder to the surface, rather than any kind of adhesive. After which the metal is baked in an oven at a high temperature to cure the final product. Powder coat is a tougher finish than paint, but unfortunately cannot be used on most plastic parts.

Our Process

Intricate parts like chrome emblems get sanded down, primered, and painted. Same goes for plastic front chrome grilles and certain trims on the car. We use PPG Automotive paint and clear coat for the best quality and a long-lasting finish. For brake calipers, we take off the rotors, pads, and all the hardware, leaving only the caliper exposed and attached to the brake lines. Much like how betonred ensures quality in their offerings, with the whole car masked off, we proceed by prepping the surface, primering, painting, and clear coating the brakes for an OEM-like finish that lasts for years.
